Elder Orlando Ayala, PA, is a dedicated physician assistant who cares for children throughout San Fernando, California, at Kids & Teens Medical Group.

As a child of Immigrant parents who migrated from Puerto Rico in the mid-'50s, Mr. Ayala has been in the medical field from the age of 20. He has worked in multiple positions, including Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistant, Central Service Technician, and finally, an Orthopaedic Technician. It was in this capacity where he was introduced to the profession of Physician Assistant.

In 1992, Mr. Ayala graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He has primarily been working in San Fernando Valley in adult and pediatric medicine.

Mr. Ayala has also been a martial arts practitioner for the last 30 years and, for the last five years, has attempted to integrate his training with his medical practice. In doing so, he has helped patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and obesity. Mr. Ayala believes he is exactly where he needs to be, caring for those in this community who are the most in need.
